Recover Gear provides an easy to use, convenient way to add cold therapy to your recovery regime. Using Recover Gear Cold Therapy products will allow you to recover from hard training faster giving you the opportunity improve.

I have been using the upper body Recover Gear garment as I recover from my shoulder surgery. It is defintely comfortable easy to use. But the reason I use recover gear for myself and I recommend it for my patients is because you can ice down without having to sit down. It's hands free and I can stay active and even work while I'm wearing it.

When I started to have to ice my knee all the time I ordered the products and thought I would get the shorts as a "just in case". I'm training for my first ironman and know eventually I will have to ice everything!
I love the product. I love that I can ice my knee immediately after running like I'm supposed to, but don't have to lay on a couch or try to wrap an ice pack around with saran wrap and have to have it fall and leak all over. I am a Physical Therapist and a marathon coach for Team in Training and will definitely recommend your product.
Thanks again and good luck!

One of my favorite new products from the past year is recover gear. There have been numerous studies demonstrating that ice baths immediately after intense workouts can speed recovery. Like many amateur triathletes, the limitations of life make it hard to get in all the training. Perhaps even more importantly, even when I can get in the training, work makes it hard to recover in time for the next workout. I experimented with ice baths and I found them to be effective after really hard workouts. I could bounce back quicker and thus train hard more frequently. Though it worked, I found that preparing an ice bath (this usually takes about 5-6 bags of ice) and then sitting in it for 30 minutes was both painful and impractical.
With Recover Gear, I put the ice packs in the tights and then wear them while I prepare my post workout meal and relax. It seems to produce the same effect with much less hassel. Also, the cold is only where you want it. This is much less painful for your other, more sensitive parts! I used this produce at least twice a week during my last two ironmans and I plan to do the same this season. I even bought extra cold packs to keep in the freezer so it would always be ready.
As a doctor, I am always a skeptic about the benefits of new products because most do not have any real research behind them. This is one that has lots of evidence and my own experience suggest it works.

As a professional triathlete I know the value of taking an "ice bath" after a serious workout. For me it is a double edge sword, I know it adds great value to the recovery process, but it is so cold on my body.
For me Recover Gear is the perfect answer. It gives my muscles the recovery they need so badly without having to be immersed in ice water to achieve it. Thanks Recover Gear! A First Class Product!!

I am a Category 1 cyclist and have been using Recover Gear shorts for about a year. I was introduced to them by a team mate who had been using them for about one month, but swore by them. I was a little suspect, but agreed to give them a try. Now, they are an integral part of my recovery protocol during periods of heavy training. The shorts reduce the trauma that heavy cycling work loads place on the muscles.
The best example I can give is the story of the Jacksonville Cycling Classic held in August 2008. This is my hometown race, and I was determined to do well in the Criterium held on Sunday. I had done a lot of work for our team during the road race on Saturday, but was excited for the chance to race in front of my family and friends in the criterium. I lined up for the Masters 35+ race and was fortunate enough to win that race from a three man breakaway. Although I was ecstatic, I was immediately concerned because I had expended a lot of energy in the breakaway. I had to hours to recover and it was going to be very hot that afternoon for the P12. I live close to the course and I drove home quickly to get into my shorts. I put on my shorts, put my feet up and hydrated.
When the P12 race started, I was nervous but felt good. My legs did not feel heavy and were surprisingly fresh. To make a long story short, I won the P12 race as well. I am CONVINCED that this would not have been possible with out the shorts. They are a proven asset.
